Kokee Camp!

This past weekend - to kick start some of our "spring breaks" - we rented out the Discovery Center up in Kokee for two nights. Late nights of drinking and talking story, cooking and eating lots of good food, and going on a super long hike, led towards making lots of memories this past weekend. Now I have the rest of the week to recover. Slept 10.5 hours last night! Too bad Darin doesn't have the rest of this week to recover, he had to go in to work early this morning.

Trip to Maui!

I was able to attend a workshop in Maui for a Smaller Learning Communities grant. Since my flight was free, Darin decided to tag along. It was so nice to be able to spend time with family and visit with Lynn, Garrett, Cade and Kendyll. Looking forward to seeing all of them again!

Kilauea Falls and BBQs

Kilauea Falls

Short hike (30 min each way) to this beautiful waterfall in Kilauea. Wanted to do this hike for a long time, but didn't know where to find it. Finally got a chance to go with a few friends who knew where to go :)
