Once Thanksgiving finished, we were full of events for Christmas. We made sure to pick up a Christmas Tree - this time we got one from Costco. Our tree was quite a gamble, it was about $60 (about $10 cheaper than Home Depot) but they didn't open it for us to check it out. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The tree was taller than any tree we've had in the past, and narrower, which fit better in the corner that we usually put it.

We have been a part of an "Ohana Group" for the past couple of years through our church, and we decided to do a Christmas party before everybody got busy. We each brought something small and wrapped for our own kids and "Santa" passed the presents out. Levi has been asking for this book that was on the back of his other flap book, so we got him that. He didn't seem too excited at the moment, but he loves reading that book now :)

Aunty Jenn invited us over to her house to decorate a gingerbread house. It was actually pretty fun watching all the kids decorate one house in the middle of the table while slipping candy into their mouths and licking the frosting. It actually wasn't as messy as I thought it would be.

The first Friday in December there is always a Christmas parade down Rice Street. Levi was stoked on the mini-parade around Kukui Grove and that made us even more excited about having him see the parade this year. Last year he was a little sick and didn't show that much emotion/excitement while watching the parade.

It's been difficult to capture a picture with Lily now days since she is on the move. I figure I'd post some pics of her, even though it's not quite the "6 month" shot I wanted.

We went to visit the Historic State Building and visited Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The lights and decorations were great!

I got to attend a Women's Christmas brunch with my Ohana Group ladies, and I brought along Lily. She was pretty well behaved, and good thing I brought her, and didn't drive because we were stuck in a 2 hour road closure and I could play and feed her in the back of the van while we waited.

We got to spend another night at Jenn's house and this time it was to decorate home made gingerbread cookies! This time it was a little more crazy since they could do their own cookie and it was closer to the edge of the table. They all seemed like they learned from last time too, and ate a lot more candy!

Emma and Evan invited Levi to go swim in the pool at the Marriott. We stopped by for a little bit and Levi tried the small slide there with Darin. It was kind of cold for Lily to jump in, so we just watched.
