Darin was in VA the week before Halloween for work. My parents were such a huge help during the week - cooking dinner, watching the kids while I taught my evening class, and bathing the kids too! On Friday night we tried to make the most of it and I cooked dinner, invited my parents over, and had the Burgess' over to carve and paint pumpkins. Aunty Char's birthday was the following day, so we had a birthday song and some cake for dessert! I think Emma ate most of the cake... and had the rest for breakfast!
Levi has entered this phase where he won't let me take any pictures of him. So most of the pictures will be of him yelling NOOOOOOO to the camera... sigh...

| Day 2, Levi painted his pumpkins some more. Grandma came over and painted with him too! |
We also got to go to Isaiah's birthday party on Saturday night. The kids showed so much restraint when the pinata got busted open that Kandice kept filling it with candy and the kids kept taking turns to hit it. It was quite the ninja turtle party! Equipped with nun-chucks, turtle shells, goody bag pizza boxes, and of course, pizza for dinner! Char was a huge help in watching Lily or Levi as I attended to the other child.
Daddy came home on Sunday afternoon for the week of Halloween, and he got to witness our math department dressing up as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Splinter and April Oniel included!). So I decided that Lily would be a baby ninja turtle as well! Levi chose his costume from Kmart - a dog, and he wore it at his day care on Friday.
