More Cabinets!

Most of our cabinets are pretty much all in. The kitchen is looking good and looks like they put in the bathroom cabinets too. We had to go look for some cabinet hardware, but luckily that was actually kind of an easy decision. It is nice since everything is coming together so you don't have to worry about if this will match with that or is it the right style.

The tile flooring is moving kind of slow, but I don't think it is going to hold us up anymore than other factors in our move in date. It is really looking like mid to late July now...bumma, but that isn't that far away either.

Outside of house stuff surf has been pretty big on the south side so we went there the other day. I got munched on the first set and took one right on the head so it took me a little while to get comfortable again. Can't believe how good some of the people out there are and how effortless they can drop in. Me, Erin, and Ben were catching the smaller ones of the set, which were still decent sized. Think we are gonna try and get out today, but sounds like the swell is dropping early...I'm okay with that though...haha.

this week

This week has been a busy one for me - from end of the year happenings at school, a hip hop dance recital, darin's birthday dinner, graduation, our anniversary, the haena to hanalei 8 mile run and BBQ after, a grad party, rehearsal for the recitals, the taste of hawaii, and it's not over yet. I think I will be able to finally go surf on Tuesday - hopefully! well, here's some updates from the past week:

Tiling getting going

Well I guess we are kind of on the home stretch on this house. We were really hoping to in in June, but it is looking more realistically like early to mid July. I think they just ordered our carpet the other day and it is a 4-6 week thing so that will probably be the longest lead item. The guy at Home Depot said sometimes it can take as little as 3 week so hopefully it will be 3 and not 6.

In the meantime we are getting some of our tile in, and Brandon guys have been regrading the lot. The tile is looking really good and I can't wait till it is all done. Kind of dreading the bathrooms cause we are going to use some travertine from Home Depot, but it isn't the best grade so I have to sort through hundreds of tiles to find the good ones.

Also, my birthday was yesterday and I just wanted to thank everyone for the bday wishes, gifts, and those that could make it for dinner. It's always fun to hang out with friends.
