Lucerne, Switzerland!

Don't know what this sign means, but it's pretty funny if it were English :)

Mt. Stanserhorn

We stayed at a jail that was converted into a hotel in 1992. Darin and I were lucky and got the Library Suite. All the others were litterally jail cells. It was pretty ghetto.

Original jail door.

Paris!

Lots of lines to get up to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

This past week was full of events...

Last weekend we went to Oahu for Jeff and Emi's wedding. We got a chance to meet up with old friends from Pacific. A mini-Pacific reunion.

We also got a chance to meet up with Royce and Amy for the Sunday afternoon. :D

This past Wednesday I participated in an All-Styles Dance Showcase put on by Kauai UnderGround Artists (kuga808.com). I danced in four hip-hop routines (check them out on youtube.com - search "erinamillard"). Darin and a few of our trusted friends/family worked the foodbooth for us while we were performing. Such a wonderful husband again :)

Here is the KUGA company!

We had a couple friends from Pacific visit us this past week and we had a BBQ at the beach. It was THE PERFECT night for a bonfire/BBQ. No wind, full moon, and good friends! Tobi found a lot of little debris and it got stuck all in his fur!

Our friends were here until Friday, so we convinced Darin to take the rest of the afternoon off to hang out with them. It was a beautiful day on the south side. The only thing missing was our surfboards. But it was nice to hang out on the beach for once. We actually did surf on the east side later that afternoon :D

Maui, Sewing and Eating

Tobi in is travel bag. He freaked out when we were waiting in line and trying to put him in the bag, but after that, the bag was his safe place and he was pretty good on the plane :)

Cade and Tobi, it was tough getting them both to look at the camera at the same time, this was the best shot we got.

Tobi even got to visit Grandpa Haruki in Kula Hospital. I don't think he was super stoked, but he let Tobi on his bed and kind of gave him some love.

Tobi and Sporty (Lynn and Garrett's doggie) got a chance to play too! Sporty was the reason I fell in love with little fluffy doggies, and ended up persuading Darin to get a little doggie named Tobi!

Darin's mom is amazing at sewing and quilting, and got me my first pattern for making this quilt. I finally got my walking foot for my machine and was able to finish my first quilt! Thanks Mom for the fabric and sewing goodies which make sewing so much easier and fun!

Came home this past Wednesday from hip hop class to this lovely dinner - seasoned crusted lamb seared on the grill then baked in the oven, with sweet potato french fries, a lovely salad and a bottle of wine. Delicious! No special occasion, don't I have the best husband ever?

Easter weekend and more...

Here's an updated pic of us at Kina and Eric's wedding. It was a beautiful day on the south side and a beautiful wedding!

Tobi got to go and hang out at "Kitchens" beach last Sunday. He discovered how to dig in the sand. With Tobi's shorter nose, he managed to get a bunch of sand all over his face when he tried to dig a deeper hole. Bocha bocha time after this day.

Tobi was helping mommy and daddy pull weeds today. He found the dirt to be more interesting and delicious. Aaaaaaaah what did we get ourselves into? Look closely, the inside of his mouth was actually mud, and I think he ate a good amount of it. :S

Tobi's now all clean! That red dirt was ridiculous to get out.

This is our backyard grass growing slowly. I came home one day and caught 10 Nene geese hanging out in our yard!

Puppy Class! Tobi is meeting Koa at our puppy obedience training class. She was a little timid. Tobi was really friendly with a lot of the dogs.

We had a few friends join us in this class too :)

Tobi getting his new chain for the training. I was a little afraid to use it, but he is learning very quickly on how to heel and stay close to our speed.

Along with taking puppy classes on Saturdays, I also have been taking a sewing class. This is Tobi's little baby futon mat that I made for him with some leftover fabric. He started sitting on it before I was even finished with it.
