Thanksgiving!
This week was a food- and fun-filled week spending time with family and friends! Our first Thanksgiving in our new home, and our first Thanksgiving with Darin's family, and my family together.
Taboo!, Left-Right-Center, and Mexican Dominos were part of our memorable night. Grandma Nitta found out how to win at the game nearing the end and was a huge difference maker.

We are truly thankful for the family we have, and how much of a blessing they are to our lives!

Tobi found a new friend this past week :) Uncle Mike was always ready to play with him. Tobi is biting his tail a lot now because there's no Mike to play with him anymore.

tobi meets abby
abby is a 75 lb bernice mountain dog and tobi is 4 lbs :) hehehe. he was a little scared, but he was pretty calm after a little bit. the house potty training is going good. so far it's been 4 days with no "oopsies". whoohoo! he's getting a lot more active now too.
As far as the house goes, darin has been working on getting the weeds killed in the yard. it's an ongoing job, and we still have to plant grass. Our garage is half cleaned out so we are now parking one car in there. It's harder to get things done around the house with tobi around.

Tobi's tricks so far
We've had him for 2 weeks so far. He's still working on going potty in the right place and letting us know, but he's getting better. So far he can sit, stay, come, shake with both hands, and do down. We're trying to work on him coming when we call him without treats, drop it, roll over and also look at me. He's being a pretty good dog so far. He sometimes goes NUTS and is starting to bite things, but his personality is pretty mellow - we hope it stays that way.

Tobi! He's 75% Maltese, 25% Shih Tzu :) He was a little bit timid and tired when we first got him so he took a nap at my parent's house. Later on in the evening he became more playful and started biting things. We gave him a chew toy, and then he got tired and now he's sleeping again. We are taking it easy tonight and hanging out with the pup. He's a huge ball of love and joy! Tomorrow we will try to give him a bath.
