Has 3 months come and gone already?!

So, I thought I would keep up this blog at least monthly, but oh well! It's been 3 months since my last post, and it seems like nothing has happened since then, but then again, Levi is growing so fast it's hard to keep up!

Levi is now 20 months, and is going to have a baby sister very shortly. He is less grouchy and temperamental, but he still has his days and now days it seems like he only wants his mommy. People say that "he knows the baby is coming". I'm hoping he will get used to not needing me as much, plus it's taking a toll on my back! Baby Girl Millard will be arriving sometime in June and we have a scheduled c-section on June 17th (unless she wants to come any earlier). I'm currently 28 weeks (out of 40 weeks) and this pregnancy is going a lot faster than the last one. No time to really over analyze every little thing.

I will be done with my first year at Kauai Community College on May 16th, and it has been a great year so far! This position that I was hired for was a 1 year temporary position, but they have approved it in the budget to be a long term position. Nothing is set in stone yet, but the horizon looks good, and it looks like the powers that be like me and are willing to keep me there. I love teaching those who want to learn and are actually studying at home! We just had our Spring Break, and Darin took a couple of days off for us to take a mini-vacation to Oahu and stay at the Disney Aulani. More of that will be in the next post.

Levi is also getting better at managing a utensil. Yes, he is still pretty messy though! Yogurt and Cheerios for breakfast!

It's been pretty rainy on Kauai, and we have hardly been going to the beach (either rain or dirty water), but we found some sun and headed south with a few of our Ohana group friends. Two weeks later and I was still peeling from the sun.

For President's Day weekend, we were able to get together with my grandma and grandpa. It was a short lunch, but also very nice to see them and for them to see Levi. Levi is also getting really good at giving hugs (he actually uses his arms now!). He also has a good memory, and even if we haven't seen the great-grandparents in a while, he still remembered them.

Uncle Jed came to visit for a wedding the first weekend of March and we were able to spend some time with him on the Sunday.

Levi is beginning to understand what a picture is and here is his "cheese" face.

The rest of the month was filled with a lot of in house time. Hiding and finding Easter eggs (just the plastic eggs)... now they are all over our house... Levi liked hiding them more than finding them after a while.

That evening was a first: Levi fell asleep in my arms (nothing needed). He was so tired from playing with Evan, he fell asleep at 7 am!

Got to finally spend some time at the beach! The weather was nice and Darin and I were both finished with work early, so we picked up Levi and headed down to Kalapaki. Levi got to paddle around with the surf board, and Tobi also got to get some sand action too!
